GUNNAR Optiks Goes 3D

techmagCould this be the year of 3D? After all, everyone’s rolling out HD 3DTVs this CES, and 3D movies are also gaining traction thanks largely to Avatar’s unprecedented box-office performance. Gunnar Optiks does not want to miss out on the bandwagon as well, with their latest creation being able to support Real D and iZ3D’s range of products. What makes this special is the fact that they are custom made using components of their i-AMP technology to churn out the optics. This provides custom-shaped, formed and cut products that provide distortion free optics. No longer do you need to wear dorky 3D glasses over your existing pair of specs in the cinema. Out in Q2 this year, they will retail anywhere from $89 to 149.
