Got my MLG Legends the other day and I love them.  I had to adjust at first but after an hour or so they felt fine and even after 8 hours straight on Call of Duty - my eyes still feel alert and fresh and I don’t have a stinking migraine like I usually would. I’ve literally just been on CoD for the past 16 hours (geek… I know) it’s nearly 5am and I’m exhausted but my eyes are still absolutely fine and aren’t even a tiny bit blood shot…seriously love these glasses!

I just want to let you know that my husband, Mike, and I had never heard of Gunnar Optiks until a couple of weeks ago.  A friend of ours let us borrow a pair of his glasses and we don’t want to give them back!!  My husband is a web designer and I am a budding photographer, so we work on our computers all day long.  My husband has tested them out more than I have, but since using the glasses for only 2 weeks, he has NOT had a headache!  These things are amazing!!  We must say, we are VERY impressed and OBSESSED!! Delivery took exactly 7 days from date of purchase, fantastic. (To Australia).  I have been wearing the Marley Mercury amber frames for just over an hour and all I can say is that these glasses are everything I hoped for and more. I was a tad worried with how much color would be distorted, but honestly, this is not even an issue (and I use a Wacom tablet for graphic design/web design). You just don’t realize how harsh the light from an LCD monitor can be until you try these glasses. Unbelievable.

There is a short adjustment period that your eyes go through, but this is expected given the lens is amber. I’m also more motivated to actually look at the screen and READ, something that I have dreaded up until now.

My recommendation: get a pair ASAP, you will be very, very glad you did!

I own a pair of Gunnar Edge and I absolutely love them and what they’ve done for my eyes. I own a Search Marketing Agency and manage PPC campaigns for a number of clients so I’m in front of a computer for long hours at a time. When I first put them on I immediately noticed a drastic difference in the clarity and sharpness of text on my screen which did wonders to reduce eye strain and fatigue. I used to end the day with tired eyes and the occasional headache. It’s been almost a year that I’ve been wearing my Gunnars and they have completely eliminated those problems. Thank You!

I want to say thank you for an amazing product. I own my own Business at 23 and I work 7 days a week 10 hours a day with constant stress on my eyes. I also play on a team for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 for xbox and I am on for at least 3-6 hours a day. So I have a lot of headaches and stress on my eyes everyday. NOT anymore, I have already felt a difference in the first two days and I never thought that it would be this dramatic of a change. I just got a pair of Gunnars at Play N Trade and so far they have worked really well. I get headaches a lot especially since I work on a computer from 9-5 then come home and play halo for another 2-6 hours depending on the day of the week, so my eyes get a lot of stress put on them…so far the Gunnars have softened the light from the monitors I use and help me stop squinting and straining my eyes.

When I first heard about Gunnar glasses, I was a bit skeptical.  I work as a Web Designer/Developer and spend a minimum 8 hours in front of computers every day.  I would constantly have dry eyes and headaches.  Six months ago, I was averaging 4 Excedrin per day to keep my headaches tolerable.  I also would carry around expensive eye drops to keep my eyes moist.  I just thought that I would have to live like that for the rest of my life.  I love working with computers and the headaches and eye problems felt like a side effect.

I have now owned a pair of Gunnar Optiks for over 4 months.  I can say that it was one of the best purchases I have ever made.  I haven’t had a headache in weeks and when I get one, it is because of my bad posture and not eye strain.  I can also go all day at work and my eyes feel like I just woke up.  I do not have dry eyes.  It sincerely feels like my eyes are behind a force field.  Two months ago, my company installed new flourescent lights above my workstation and I was so thankful to have my Gunnars.  I know they saved me many headaches, and ultimately made me more productive during the day.

When I show my Gunnars to my co-workers and other computer professionals, they are blown away by the initial affects of the glasses.  They also comment on how lightweight and sturdy the glasses feel.

I LOVE the glasses!  They actually work best for me when I’m on the road using my laptop.  I spend a lot of time working from hotel rooms and the glasses really make a difference.  Normally it’s late in the evening when I get back to the hotel and I have a few hours of work to do online and I’m already tired.  The glasses definitely make the difference in getting the work done now instead of putting it off until the next morning.

I work as a Graphic Artist and my days are filled with long hours of looking at the computer screen. I have good vision, but had begun to have trouble focusing near to far quickly. I also began having headaches and my eyes felt as though they were straining.

I ordered these based on a review from Gizmodo and I do not regret it. The difference is immediate. My eyes feel great and my screen looks clearer. If I had to make a complaint, it would be that the lenses give the screen a bit of yellow tint. I would give it 4.5 stars because of the yellow tint, but rounded up to five for default. Make sure to read the instructions, they are NOT to be used as sunglasses or while driving!

It’s been a month and I’m used to the yellow tint. These glasses are great! I’m considering buying a second pair for home!

Gunnar Optiks, a new company, never heard of before, just recently came out with these glasses, supposedly  increasing visual performance and improving productivity on the computer.

I would certainly recommend these if you’re a person who sits in front of your computer monitor for many hours at a time.

For the most part, I only use them at night due to the decreased brightness level in my room.  I can honestly say they work for me.

Fashionably speaking, you wouldn’t want to be walking around the office with these on but on that same note, you wouldn’t want to be walking around with these on in the first place as the curved lens will make you a bit dizzy when walking.

So, should I buy these? These glasses aren’t right for everybody, as said above, I would only recommend these if you spend long hours on the computer, programming, hardcore gaming, etc. Otherwise, the average person probably doesn’t need these.

When I first put on the Gunnar eyewear, I noticed an immediate change. When I continued working on my PC it was almost as if my perception was changed. I was able to relax more and since the change was so initially beneficial, I continued to wear them throughout the day. I wouldn’t necessarily say that my productivity was increased; however I did notice that when the end of the day came I felt less stress and I felt less drained than I normally do. I am also very impressed with how comfortable the glasses are; so comfortable in fact that I forgot that I am wearing them and do not even notice the yellow tint. I even went to lunch with the glasses on and a co-worker asked me about my new glasses and why they were yellow.

I noticed nothing uncomfortable about wearing these glasses for extended periods of time. However, when I removed the glasses I do notice that I need about 30 seconds to allow my eyes to fully re-adjust to my “normal” vision. I do not see this as a potential negative of wearing the eyewear since my eyes felt more relaxed after removing them anyway.

I really appreciate the aesthetics of the eyewear. The idea of eyewear for gamers and general computer users is one that has been around for a while but was never done correctly. I believe that Gunnar has made a very unique and exciting image, for gamers in particular. And I truly feel that this eyewear presents a fresh new modern look, not just for pc users and gamers but for console gamers as well. Over time I began to like this look on myself more and more and I now believe that it will be accepted and adopted into use as more people experience the benefits of this eyewear.

I see a future where all gaming professionals will wear Gunnars due to their benefits and performance increase in game over long periods of play or practice and training.

Hello, I received my Gunnar glasses 2 days ago and by far that’s the best thing that has happened to me since I started playing computer games over 8 hours a day.  Awesome—no more tired and burning eyes. I am enjoying all my time spent in front of my monitor. I am recommending this product to all my friends and people that I play online with. Big thank you again for making this wonderful product.

I’ve tried many types of eye protection glasses but none of them gave my eyes a relief similar to this one, tend to give a yellowish tint, very light weight and comes in a cool box.

Normally, I would be skeptical about the claim that these glasses can “enhance my computer viewing experience”, but I saw these featured on Gizmodo where the author of the article actually said that these worked. I’ve had the glasses for about a week and I can honestly say they work.

After a good trial of using these glasses, I can say with certainty that…I love these glasses!  They make quite a big difference for me. Even yesterday morning I forgot to put them on and, after just an hour of working, my eyes were really bothering me.  Then I put the glasses on and they almost instantly felt better.  My eyes definitely look and feel much better using these glasses!

Just wanted you to know how much I am enjoying the Gunnar glasses. They really do help and I find myself wearing them much of the time I am indoors. I’m betting they could help me in low light conditions as well (like trying to read the menu in a dark restaurant). It sucks getting old!
